Over the course of my employment I have become involved as project manager in the design, development, testing, and roll out of software based solutions to meet the growing customer need for analytics, communication, and risk assessment.
These projects included interviewing clients and prospects on needs and issues, building the business case and business plan, analyzing the risks, setting budget constraints, working with the programmers, managing workflow, testing, roll out training, and implementation.
Software and cloud based project management engagements have included:
- Online document repository for one of the leading international captive management firms to meet the needs of its clients, brokers, insurers, reinsurers, captive managers, clients, vendors, and board members to store, retrieve, share, monitor access, collaborate, and customize to meet organizational needs including communication, compliance, operational efficiencies, and contractual oversight. Multiple layers of security provide levels of security as directed by the client.
- Client portal for communication, document storage and retrieval, on-line marketing
- Project and task management, roll up reporting, customizable report features, expense management, charting and graphic reports, time management, open access with security features to allow access by all team members including customer, broker, insurer, reinsurer, claims professional, legal, actuarial, etc. based on selected security and privacy controls and approved level of access.
- Client enterprise risk tool for risk identification, assessment, scoring, modeling, treatment plans, ownership, and adjusted scoring
- Client survey tool for communication, service improvement, risk identification, and risk scoring
- Risk financing: financial pro forma’s, risk quantification, exposure database, loss triangles, loss forecasting, reserve analysis, cost benefit analysis, net present value true program selection cost analysis
- Automated exposure databases that would reflect exposures in a real time basis based on currency of location
- Claim handling including analytics, reporting, notification, true cost of claim handling, and client oversight
- Development, installation, and roll out of a customer relationship management cloud based tool to manage prospects, provide value based projections of outcomes, workflow, accountability, and revenue probabilities. System tracked accounts, projects, contacts, documents, and tasks.
